I think we're getting some of these nutty threads--i.e, "End of the
World", "U2 Sucks Page", etc, etc, are happening because the band is in
the studio and the album isn't supposed to be out until the end of the
year, and they sure as heck aren't on tour!! :-) OK, no doubt someone
would have at least mentioned this stuff. But there wouldn't have been
as much talk about them, IMHO. My own brother doesn't like U2, but what
the heck? I'm not overly fond of some of the retro he listens to.
Wouldn't music be boring if we all liked the same stuff? I wouldn't like
that at all. If that person chooses to do the "I Hate U2" site, OK, but
I don't have to go to it. It's the Internet, and I can choose what I'm
going to do on it and what I'm not going to do. This sort of Web page
doesn't appeal to me, so to heck with it.
