Love is Blindness / Rowena's Theme connection

Yesterday, I was listening to Zoo TV Sydney (2nd Night), and noticed
something rather interesting. The live version of Love is Blindness near the
beginning, after the organ intro, is the same as the opening of Rowena's Theme
on the Captive soundtrack. Can anyone tell me if this is intentional and why this
was done?

I've noticed a similar connection with the organ parts from "Doctor Doctor" showing up in
the live version of NASOTR from the Omagh Late Late Show. Are there any other
connections like these that I may have missed?
