I agree with David here. Dublin is more than just U2. But what's
really bad about what Patty said was when she tried to associate
Chicago with Michael Jordan. I would always remember Sears Tower and
I think that is what most would say.

This is not a sports forum but if there is someone out there willing
to debate to me Michael Jordan's greatness, I am willing to do so. He
is overrated and is merely a fabrication created by the media. Five
less rings than Russell, and he couldn't win a ring until after 7
seasons when the NBA talent level was watered down due to expansion.
Magic won is his first season, Bird and Jabbar won on their second.
Jordan had to wait for Magic and Bird to be way past their prime and
for expansion to settle in to dissipate the league's talent.

Proof of this, for two seasons in a row, the championship was fought
by "old warriors" in Jordan and Pippen vs. Malone and Stockton (all in
their mid 30s). In the past when the league was stronger, we would
see players slugging it out for the champioship at their prime. it's
just because talent has been watered down so much that still the old
warriors remain the best in the league.

To further add to this, many young players imitating Jordan's greed
quit college early with no skills but all potential and then ballhog
their ways to make their teams look so bad. With expansion and many
unskilled young players oozing only with potential, competition in the
NBA has watered down, thus giving Jordan a chance to get the rings he
could never win over the greater players.

That's just a short overview on why I think Jordan is overrated. BUt
I wish him well in his retirement plans. But once again, I would like
to point out that Jordan is not to Chicago what Eiffel is to Paris!
That's a totally bad comparison. Maybe U2 to dublin would be closr to
the real thing.

Cheers,

J
