I would welcome a return to the "straight ahead" U2. The posturing DOES
get tiring. But if they were to return to "the Joshua Tree" era styled,
then wouldn't that put them right back on track - and ready for another few
albums?

The "new" album being a re-release of the Joshua Tree is a dead giveaway.
THAT wouldn't be a "new release" now would it?
