Why don't we just wait and see if Polygram or whoever releases Statement
X before jumping to conclusions? The entertainment business is crazy.
There's always politics going on, and Big Shot X just might hate Big
Shot A and.......do whatever. I have to see news in the newspapers, on
TV, and elsewhere before I'm going to believe that a big time event--
like U2's break-up--is going to happen. And even then it might or might
now be true. In Flanagan's book Edge's dad jokes that the newspapers
have them breaking up at least twice a year. Who knows, and who (perhaps
) misinterpreted something someone said? (notice: I said "perhaps"--I'm
not making any accusations here). Meanwhile we don't need to start a
civil war over the "End of the World" controversy on Wire.

Pax,
Patricia

P.S. for those of you who are curious about the meaning of the word
"pax", it's Latin for "peace".
