I'd would just like to thank Kimiko Percival for the very touching email
concerning the now defunct Depeche Mode and industrial music. DM have
always been categorized in the industrial field. Ever try reading
"Industrial Nation: the Magazine"? Those pretty boys were all there! I
believe DM is considered the Backstreet Boys of dance/pop/bubblegum,
whatever. Bono has always believed that DM created what he calls
"wallpaper music" from early on. He once said at the US Festival 1983 in
Devore, Ca. "We're not an English Fashion Band just passing through."
Believe me Kimiko, I know what I'm talking about. Dave Gahan is a drug
abuser who should learn from Wild Irish tunes like "Running to Stand
Still" "Bad," "Wire" and so forth. Bono is a drug addict? NO way! Dave
Gahan is a fucked up drug addict, who should retire along with the other
two and make like lounge flies in Vegas. KMFDM Kimiko? Oh, they know
what DM's all about...Fake, fake, fake,....Face the facts, a "has-been"
is a "has been" like DM and Dave Gahan...it's over! Alan and RECOIL knew
it all along.
