I heard that the new deal would create just 2 major
groups of labels, not three, one group centered on each coast.
Oh well, MTV probably meant that there would be 2 major groups (i.e.
the LA based would be Universal, Mercury etc. and the east coast
would be Island, Interscope, etc.) plus whatever biggo-bango one I
guess would be the third. Guess we'll hear more as it comes about.
