More U2 on the Radio

I'm just wondering if it's only me, or
other Wirelings have noticed this, too.
It seems to me that since The Best of
album was released, some radio stations
are playing more U2. At work, I've
convinced them to listen to 103.1 for
many months now. It's a station that plays
"classic rock from yesterday and today"
and about half of it is current releases.
It really is a classy "clasic rock" station:)
After the album was released, the
amount of U2 they played went up a lot.
Before, it was maybe 2, WOWY and One at
the most. Now, I hear 5 or more a day
while I'm at work.
I ususally hear ST twice.
Do you suppose it's finally dawned on
these stations that U2 is great and
should be played more, or maybe having
all The Best of on one CD encourages
them to paly it? :)
Perhaps them releasing a GH album and
it going double platinium here in the
US this fast has finally made them
set up and take notice?
Maybe it's only here in LA on the
station I listen to?
