This is one of my pet peeves.
Symbols (innocent symbols) being stolen, used for evil and,
consequently, forever ruined.

(here's a symbol Adolf Hitler stole from the USA Girl Scouts....we're
stealin' it back)

That's right, in the early 1900's, the USA Girl Scouts used the swastika
on their flags and as patches for uniforms.

Go to an old section of an urban U.S. area, and check out the tops of
buildings. Chances are you'll see swastikas. It was an ornate
embellishment used frequently in American architecture and design.

But now....
...now it has been relegated FOREVER as a symbol of hate and genocide.

It used to be a symbol of "good luck."
(I'm uncertain it can ever regain such favor.)

Scoundrels abrogating an identity. It's despicable.

(sorry for the rant. But I am fascinated by the POWER of symbols. They
are definitely worth a thousand words. and I lament the unfair
castigation of the swastika)

Symbolically yours,

I've seen on them a picture of a Swastika cross used by American
Indians. I can say it wasn't the one i know, so i suppose it exists many
forms of Swastika crosses. And the one used by Nazis wasn't at all this
one,
neither in this sense, nor in the other sense.
