I cannot be sure how many of the single there were, but i can tell you, as
the proud owner of one, that the 12" version was limited to 1000. I would be
keen to know whether they ever had a reprint of it because it was on CBS
Ireland, and you know what record companies are like. Once a band leaves a
lable and joins snother and then goes on to world domination, the original
label will always reissue old stuff to make a dollar or two. I have seen it
happen too many times before to believe that CBS would not do it if given
half the chance. Maybe thier was a very cool bit of legal wrangling done by
Mr McGenius(McGuiness) to prevent this from happening.If not then why have
they not done it ?
Maybe they did not habg on to the masters because they did not know what
they had ? I guess we shall never know !!
