First off, quick question:
Does anyone know why With or Without You is cut off on the PopHeart EP?
You can hear they were kind of building up as it fades out.
If there are any guitarists out there, electric or bass, please feel
free to email me to talk geetars. Especially if you have any
information on how to recreate U2's sound. If you don't feel like

Also, regarding the new album. I personally wouldn't be surprised if
the album came out before summer. Think about it, U2 have always
stretched deadlines and have always taken a long time with their albums.
I have this gut feeling that they have their stuff down for this next
album. And instead of following suit with their old albums, delivering
them late, they'll have it done early, ahead of schedule, on the record
company's desk as their jaws drop. That would be different. Think for
a second, they keep on emphasizing how the album won't be out for a long
time. Then everyone relaxes and then all of a sudden, "Hey world, we're
ready with the best stuff we've ever done." Instead of creating
suspense by taking long, they'll create chaos by delivering early.
Also, with their new style or recording, writing the songs, and then
recording instead of jamming till you find something, songs can happen
much quicker, if they have it down. I can't wait personally. It's
going to be great music. Maybe some rock tracks like HMTMKMKM and some
beautiful slow songs. And a lot in between. Just a thought.
One more thing, anyone know where I can get some of the archived studio
pics from the Pop sessions?
Sorry, what do you all think's going to happen for the next tour,
setlist wise? What do you think/hope they'll drop, pick up, or change?
This has been a fair amount already, so I'll throw in my thoughts later.
