U2 in reference to REM, alanis, madden

Greetings fellow wirelings...

Count me in as another REM fan...saw their monster tour and it was good,
but was nowhere near as good as zoo tv or popmart, of course.

My whole view on this alanis crap is that maybe she was just influenced by
U2. But I'm not defending her, I personally prefer her first album, and I
did not buy her second album and have no plans of doing so. But I did
enjoy seeing U2 at number one in debut's around here and alanis sulking at
number 2. :)

Did anyone go to a U2 concert which Rage Against the Machine opened for
them? I'm just curious to what songs they played, and if anyone has it on
tape...could i get a copy, cash or trade? thanks!

Finally, suffering through a week without football, I was enlightened by
John Madden's All Madden team. Not only did I agree with his picks for
once :) but they played ST for Marino and Desire for Plummer! Hmmm...maybe
next week's All-Madden millenium team will be just as good. and hopefully
i will be entertianed by the usual tons of U2 songs at next saturday's
penguins/bruins game during tv timeouts. :-0
