Just came back from an AMAZING night seeing a U2 tribute band called "Zoo 2"
and they were...well simply... FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!!! It was like a mini
Popmart and Zoo TV concert but in a club type deal, as one of my friends
pointed out. All the band members were in Popmart costumes and Zoo TV
costumes and the guy who was Bono looked so much like him, it was amazing.
He was dressed like the Fly and had new shades that he said he bought today
and he could pass for the real Bono with ease, even his voice was like his!
They came in during Pop Muzik and played songs from Popmart and Zoo TV like
Discotheque, Mofo, Zoo Station, Desire and plus many of the popular hits and
"Bono" even came out in his Macphisto comstume!! He was saying all the
speechs from Popmart and especially Zoo TV. The music sounded pretty damn
good, the bass was pounding hard, the bass thumping loud, the guitar wailing
and screaming perfectly, and of course the singing was pretty damn cool! Oh
there was this guy sitting beside us who couldn't sing at all, it was real
bad and quite halarious but at least he was into it. A very good crowd was
there and a lot of people, and freaks, were dancing away and of course we
all were singing!! Next time I need a few beers in me but tonight I had to
drive. Anyway I could go on here but I won't since I need some sleep and
have to get up in a few hours but I was wondering if there were any
Wirelings there tonight? I did see quite a lot of U2 shirts out there, which
was always cool! There was one Wireling there that I used to know but me and
her have a history that ended up bad so I don't know what would of happened
if I would of said hello but I know somebody was with her that I don't like
and needs a good ass kicking but didn't bother, why ruin a good mood over
something stupid. Anyway I'm babbling now, go see this band, it's worth it
and you'll enjoy it so much, GUARANTEED!!!!
