There's been a lot of stuff on Wire about this recently. Looks like
Jouanou has his own project with U2 in it. Someone saw a rough cut,
aparently, and it is about a young director making a film about a rock
band. U2 plays the band. Its autobiographical, but set in the 90's.
Apparently a lot of PopMart will be in the film.

Gibson hates Jouanou and I'm not sure why. I think it has something to do
with old Phil dissing the wrong people in Hollywood. As I remeber, the
whole thing reflected pretty poorly on Gibson. And it is a shame that Bono
is working with the jerk, although perhaps some kind of detante will come
of it.

As for the tour, PopMart was unly running three months in '98 - not a bad
result considering. It was #1 in '97, I believe.
