"Ireland is the sow that eats its own farrow". Get the quote right,
my boy!

Why wouldn't James Joyce be someone to quote about Ireland,
just because he left in disgust? Surely, a more eloquent
commentary upon Catholic education, and all its psychoses one
could not find!

At least he was actually Irish, and not some ghastly "Irish"
American!!

Trawl through "Finnegan's Wake". Then you've encountered James
Joyce!
