Joyce's ARABY, and U2 clothes...

I have read "Araby" and I loved it, MonkeyBoy. I haven't read any other
Joyce, but I have his books, collecting dust, waiting to be read.

I was in the thrift shop, and I saw some ugly pants with "U2" buttons, made
in Japan. Obviously, this is the same U2 clothier. Mom said, "Say! Why don't
you get them!" and I had to pass because they were like MC Hammer pants,
except they were jeans. I am sure their clothes are more flattering these
days, but it was amuzing to see U2 pants!

Did anyone find U2 At The End Of The World as dull as I did? I felt the book
was in serious need of an editor, and MTV had reported (when the book was
released) that the band's friends were laughing at how pretentious and
self-absorbed the book was. Hmmmm....Just wondering.

Later!

set me alight, we'll punch a hole right
   through the night
       everyday the dreamers die
    to see what's on
  the other side.....
