Just heard about this thread. I have been away. I have a boot from the
Unforgettable Fire days, Chicago I think. Bono says that Dublin is not
a fair city. Many grow up and join adult life. Some grow up and don't
join anything. He says he joined a band. Bad was written because of an
friend that he used to hang around with and play football (soccer) and
on his 21st birthday he recieved enough heroin into him to kill him.
