My thoughts on the video.
I think it was the midget who died at the end of the video. I beilieve
he died by falling off
the trapeze swing. When we see him at the funeral he's acually a ghost,
and his friend(the bald guy) is the only one who can see him. He throws
the ring in so he can be buried with it. There is also shot in the video
of the woman tossing and turnning in her bed, I think that shots in
there to show she's distressed over the death of the midget. Also I
think the reason he went on the trapeze swing was to prove to the woman
that he was just as much "man" as the guy she was with.
Yesterday I bought a greatest Hits Roy Orbison record, one of the songs
on the record is called Blue Angel (Quite A lovely song). Do you think
Edge named his thrid daughter after the song. I do beilieve Edge was a
fan of his, didn't he and Bono work on his last album in '88. Roy
Orbison also died in '88 right? and Edge's daughter BlueAngel was born
in '89. Maybe her name was a nod to Roy Orbison. Who knows? What Do You
Think?
