Mothers in Santiago

One of my favorite boots!

Anyway, I know a little Spanish, so yeah, I kow what they're saying.
When Bono says, "We dedicate this concert to..." The mothers come in and
say the names of the disappeared. For some it's a son, another one's is
a brother. They say their names "detenido, desaparecido (held,
disappeared)" and the date when these people vanished. Then U2 does
Mothers of the Disappeared. The mothers again say the names of their
loved ones and this time, one of them says "exijo justicia (I demand
justice!)." And this is when the crowd cheers. Bono then thanks the
crowd and the concert ends with the "El pueblo Vencera (the vallage will
conquer, literally speaking. But it means more that the PEOPLE will
win)."

I might have the sequence wrong here, but I think I'm right on
everything else. Someone correct me if I'm not.

Rose
