Hey Wirelings,
Just wanted to pass on a good U2 story; proof that they increase
goodness everywhere. I am taking a class called Intro to Media Analysis,
and during the first video my professor showed in class (which was about
the evils of TV) the jingle that is played at the beginning of the ZooTv
tours ("Television...the drug of the nation. Breeding ignorance and feeding
radiation..."). Instantly I recognized it and after class told my prof.
where I knew it from. I also went on to explain its relation to ZooTv and
how the many televisions on tour came from the CNN 24 hour coverage of the
Gulf War. Well, my professor was actually *interested* and said he'd be
interested in seeing the show! and even maybe playing it in class!!! oh
yes!! :-) needless to say i put aside all my other homework and went to
work on summarizing the show for him and getting it ready so he could watch
it. So far he hasn't mentioned he's watched it...but we'll see.
Just thought I'd share my cute U2 story... now let's see what I get
in the class!! Thanks for listening!
        Peace and POP,

*Carrie*
