IGWSHA what's it all mean?

These are merely my humble opinions but I've decided to run them up the
flagpole just to see who salutes

1. in IGWSHA, do the words 'His mother dealing in a doorway' have something
to do with gambling?
--my guess would be she was a prostitute, selling herself out of her home

2. in IGWSHA: i couldn't figure out what a 'begging bowl' is (same line as
no. 1)
--here I'm thinking that it means he ( Father Christmas ) is panhandeling.
If I remember correctly durring meadieval times it was fairly common to
find the poor people standing outside the richer parrishes carring small
bowl that the rich in the community would drop coins into. The money was
called alms.

3. in IGWSHA 'Jesus used to show me the score': the word 'score' has to do
with sport language or maybe with music language or what else?
--this one I'm pretty sure is slang for the situation. Id est Jesus used to
talk with him and let him know what was going on in the world but now he
has grown distant

I trust you people will send me several severe electronic spankings if I am
wrong but ... fire away, I'm ready for ya!
