I was just readin' Kate's post on the Smashing Pumpkins' concert, and it
reminded me of my wonderful, fantastic, terrific, smashing, LOVELY,
SEXY, AMAAAAAAAAZING time at Popmart!
The drinkin' wasn't as bad, I'm sure, as at the Smashing Pumpkins'
concert... but it got a little crazy at a couple points.
The most HILARIOUS part of the night was the "U2 PARTY VAN!" They
painted that everywhere! It was gorgeous. We spotted it as we got to
the L.A. Colusium for the concert, and on our way out, the U2 Party Van
was full and happenin'! It was rockin' and rollin', literally! Full of
drunks. We were in our car, sitting in line, tryin' to leave, and we
were right in front of all this. Two drunk guys started fighting and
pushin' each other. They were PISSED OFF! Screamin' and bright red.
Then...outta the blue, they started hugging and sayin', "I'm sorry,
man!" It was soooooo funny... but I guess y'all had to be there. So,
whenever my friend Hayley and I have, ya know, had a little to drink, we
always reminise about the "U2 Party Van!" We reinact the scene. It's
HILARIOUS! HA HA HA HA AAAAAHHHH HA HA HA HA! Really, it is.
Next U2 concert I go to, I'm bringin' my own "U2 Party Van!" YES, I
looooooove U2 THAT MUCH! :) I'm doin' it! But knowin' how my luck
goes, I'll probably end up being the designated driver. I guess I don't
mind, though. I wanna *remember* the concert PERFECTLY, anyway. It's
still gonna be FUN, BABY!
