The 200th episode of The Simpsons is being nominated for OUTSTANDING
ANIMATED PROGRAM (For programming one hour or less.). "Trash of the
Titans" is up against: Cow And Chicken . Free Inside, Journey To The
Center Of Cow, Dexter's Laboratory . Dyno-might & Lab-retto, King Of The
Hill . Texas City Twister, and South Park . Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride.
Now this is a delimma beyond all delimma's. U2 is my favorite band, but
South Park is my favorite Animated Show. What is a man to do? I don't
know if I can handle to stress.
Anyway, is this the first time that a show featuring U2 or animated
representations of U2 has been nominated for an Emmy?
Also, hear are some other U2 tidbits. Win Ben Stein's Money likes to use
U2 songs as part of their category titles. I saw Sunday Bloody Sunday used
just this week, the other songs escape me, they were used a while ago.
Also, Bobcat Goldwait, does an impersonation of Bono singing the YMCA. I
must say he sounds quite like Bono. I repeat almost like Bono. Also
hearing Bono sing the YMCA in the manner that he sings With or Without you
is very funny. I know many will see this as an insult but if you look at
it from a artistic point of view it is a very impressive impersonation.
Hope all this info isn't old news.
