Sure, i believe you ;-D One of my friend is Welsh and the first time
we said she was english, she replied "Horror ! Horror !" :-D

If i good understand, Nic thinks 20 years is a kind of dead-line.
Tell me if i'm wrong. And he compares U2 to the Beatles about this. And i
disagree because The Beatles (i do like them) only existed 5 years, even
though their influence is still great. They're one of the major band but the
comparaison with U2 stops there. I don't think the emergence of a new big
band obeys statistics. Moreover, i don't think someone could guess 20 years
ago, that U2 will be "the next Beatles". So, IMHO, the messages about this
thread shows us more the other bands we love than the next U2. IMHO, we have
to wait for the end of U2 before seeing the next U2 to emerge. BTW, we can
try to guess which band can take their place, and read our old messages when
it will happen.

PS: I still hope the end of U2 won't happen before another set of 20
years at least !!!

        In the name of love

                                                        Karine
