My last post to WIRE concerning the debate
over whether or not the Prodigy could be the next
U2 was barely intelligible. Sorry about that, as I am
sure a few laughs were kicked up from that rederick
I conjured up concerning The Prod, varying beliefs,
and U2.

Anyway, after actually reading what I wrote : ), I just
need to make one point clear. In general, I think
U2 is into delivering their message in the most peaceful
musical means possible. The Prodigy goes about
delivering messages in a more aggressive way. Fundamentally,
these two methodologies are VERY different. Yeah, the
attitudes might parallel but they charged in much different
ways; thus, a different outcome in the music(s) of the Prodigy
and U2 (respectively).

The Prodigy is much more angry on the surface I would dare
say. Given this, I'd say that many people might subscribe
to their music and whatever message they carry IF MANY PEOPLE
are willing to AGGRESSIVELY express anger.

This dusicussion has made me EVEN more appreciative of
U2 and their efforts to *help* make the world a better place to live.

Long live U2....and may there be a "next" U2!!

Chris
