You know, you just gotta love wire - the place where rumor, speculation,
and idle thoughts are often posted and/or taken as fact(s).

Might I suggest (not for the first time) that when you question the
actions of the list owner that you check with the list owner FIRST before
posting to the list?

To the best of my knowledge Joel doesn't (it's very hard to, in fact)
delete posts from the reflector version of the list or from the web
archive (which I maintain). Because posts for the digest "sit around"
before the digest goes out, it's possible to remove posts from the digest.

However, as a listowner, Joel will choose when he feels it is appropriate
to do so or not.

The recent set of posts that HAVE been deleted, have been deleted from the
WEB ARCHIVE at my discretion. I doubt very much that Joel will disagree
with my actions but he, AS THE LISTOWNER, has every right to.

And that's all I have to say about that.
