This one is too easy for me, but I guess only a handful of ppl will know
how great and special this version of One was and still is. The one I'm
referring to is the Sydney Popmart version. In my mind it is the best
version for many reasons. These included, Bono's dedication of the song
to Michael Hutchence in front of his family and band members. But the
highlight was the rain and lightning. When Bono asked for the lights
and the video screen to be turned off, hearing an emotional One with
lightning streaking directly above the Sydney Football Stadium, and with
the rain coming down, well I have yet to experience an experience which
evens comes close.
Btw, does anyone have the mp3s of "staring at the sun" and "one" from
melbourne popmart??
