Bootlegs/Sex

I think its cool to trade stuff that isn't available commercially. Doesn't
U2 encourage this? (I know the Grateful Dead did, although it is a huge
faux-pas to SELL Dead concerts.) As for the produced stuff, I would prefer
to buy it anyway. A little stealing sin't going to hurt the band,
especially the rare tracks. They should release an album of stuff that
hasn't appeared on albums or b-sides. I'd buy that.

As for Bono's personal life, I'm not sure about those "questionable
morals". there are a lot of people out there with questionable morals.
Some couple routinely engage in sex with different partners (the Anais
Nin/Henry Miller grouping comes to mind). Its the agreement that Bono and
Ali have that is important. And we can't know about that. Its not like -
"okay, here's the government liscence, now if you have sex outside of this
license, you are an immoral person." If emotional dissatisfaction leads to
adultery, then it seems adultery is less of a moral breakdown than a cry
for help. If someone REALLY doesn't give a shit about their partner, then
we shouldn't be marrying them, should we?
