Well, not to be a pompous ass or anything, but I gave the valedictory this
past May for my class, and in the midst of all that fluffy talk, I managed
to slip in, "A line from the song 'Gone' by the band U2 says it best --
"You wanted to get somewhere so badly, you had to lose yourself along the
way." "
That was my small contribution to making this world a better place in
which to live.
