U2 mistakes

Greetings, it's the Scatterbrain From Hell!! :-) :-)
Personally, I don't think the Time cover thing was a mistake at all. It
was yet another way of saying "hey, world, we're here!" I was pleased as
punch when I saw that cover! So much so that I ripped that issue of the
magazine off my parents!! (naughty, naughty!! :-))
Everyone told me Dunphy's biography was crud, so I didn't bother. That
choice *did* strike me as a big time screw-up, but hey, don't we all
screw up big time at least once in our lives? I know I have!! :-) If
you're in the public eye, then your screw-ups are public, too.
The K-Mart press conference? Didn't bother me.
Certain recording devices? I can't imagine a group that works so hard on
their albums particularly liking the idea of someone bringing a
recording device to their concerts.
If we felt like it we could come up with more mistakes, as we're talking
about human beings. It's too late for me to do that now!! :-)
