As I watch the "All Man Weekend" on MTV Europe, featuring of course "The
Essential U2" (the old one, I presume, but who cares?) from 2 P.M. CET and
a very cool promo with lots of snaps from 'Staring At The Sun', ending with
The Edge casting sparks of light, I feel I must say, along everybody else:
Happy Birthday, Edge!
May the light and the spirit be always with you!
I want just to add that the only time I cried while listening to the
Sarajevo concert on radio was during 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'.
The funny thing is that I didn't realize then it was Edge! It dawned on me
later, when I replayed it (after taping it, of course)!
BTW, the 'crowdtocry' site is OK (great pics) and I think it will be
better.
I think I will be back with other topics. This one is for Edge. I think he
does browse the Net - he's the technical wizard after all! And, again BTW,
there's a clever fictitious story at 'Zoonation - Essays' ("Why Drummers
Carry So Many Quarters") where Edge is sometimes called Reg. Anybody knows
something about that?
