Hello kiddies! (and due to all the pensioners it seems we have here on Wire
-- I use that term loosley).

First off I am 25 (and a Scorpio born in the year of the Rat -- so in a way I
have bonded with 3 out of 4 members of U2). I am the youngest of 6. The
oldest of the children in my family is 39 and acts like he is still 16. The
next 3 still depend on my parents for jobs, and money, and can't seem to think
for themselves (ages 30-37). The one just older than me died a few years ago
-- she is the sole reason I cannot listen to One Tree Hill without crying, and
missing her. My parents refer to me as the one with a brain to be proud of (go
ahead ask me anything)! I have a bond to U2 -- their music, not because of my
age, but because I can relate on certain levels with many of the feelings they
sing about. My bond is different from your bond. No one can tell you that
your experiences which bond you to U2 are wrong.

Second -- Anyone who says "in my day" or "back in the day" or "way back when"
IS old -- but hey if you listen to U2, then I guess you are pretty cool. And
to the younger fans who diss the older fans -- just remember, these are the
people who can put you in their will. And seeing how they are on their "last
leg" you may want to suck up so you may inherit their collections! LOL ~

Third -- "who really wants to know what colour jocks Bono wears?"
I didn't think he wore any ... I'm thinking Adam doesn't either. Edge
definitely wears boxers -- he's too fertile not to, and Larry probably wears
plain old white briefs. And what the hell is a vita-brit anyway? Is that
like veggamite? I hope Edge isn't one of those freak-o vegans!!

In the name of Sparky,
Shannon Carey-Thorpe

"And in our world a heart of darkness, a firezone
Where poets speak their heart, then bleed for it...
I don't believe in painted roses, or bleeding hearts
While bullets rape the night of the merciful...
I'll see you again when the stars fall from the sky
And the moon has turned red over One Tree Hill
We run like a river to the sea..."
I miss you Erin!
