Red Rocks, again

I posted, awhile ago, about the seemingly sudden interest in Red Rocks
being a place to play/record for current bands. I thought that maybe,
just maybe that U2 was at least a little responsible for this.. and it
looks like I was (at least somewhat) right! and that's not just my last
name: On VH1's "Number Ones" show the other night they were at Red Rocks
with Semisonic and that band Match Box 20.. well in one of the short
interviews with the bands ("why did you want to play here, etc") the
guitarist of Match Box 20 (I'm just assuming guitarist) made the
statement "..well, we've all seen 'Under a Blood Red Sky' you've just
gotta play play here!" So, I guess the band does still have some
influence in the musical realm..

Incidentally, does anyone else find the name for the video 'Under a
Blood Red Sky' annoying? Considering that there was no red sky, rain
actually, and Bono even changed the line in New Year's Day from "under a
blood red sky" to "under thunder cloud and rain" ..just a thought...

"how could beauty be so kind, to an or-din-ary guy?"
