Hi Gail and ather Wires,

This is my opinion on everything...

First of all, I'd really like some of your thoughts on what constitutes a
fan - size of your U2 collection? willingness to camp out 3 days to see
them? just liking them a lot?

***Boy it's a hard question...I guess all of them. But I think only the fan
can judge himself about what's he like. Maybe there are fans that think
that the important thing is not to buy everything they sees with U2 on it
but just loving them a lot or something else. Maybe there are fans who
ready to spend every peny for U2. Maybe ther are fans who can't stop
talking about how great U2 are and how sexy Bono is etc. and everbody fells
like U2 fans. And everybody is right.

Also, how much of an effect do you think fans have on U2? too little?
should we matter more (most), or should the band do what they want
regardless of what the fans think? do you feel like they owe you anything
in return for your committment to them?

***I think we fans have a big effect on U2. They are nothing without us.
Just think to yourself what could it be if nobody would buy their alboms,
nobody would listen to them, nobody would go to their concerts, nobody
would vote for them etc. The band don't forget to thank us fans on every
music awards show, have you noticed? However I think that U2 always fit the
shoes of their fans or... is there anybody who unhappy with something? I'm
not, I'm think they are doing the best of the best of the best and I'm
glad.

Finally, is it just the music or is it more than that? have the actions
and philosophy of U2 influenced you in other areas of your life? is there
anything U2 could do that would make you stop being a fan?

***Erm...most of it it's the music. Music and U2's personality. I know it
maybe sound funny and that I don't know about U2 personality that much but
I know enough to say that they are great and it means a lot to me. And yes
maybe if U2 were pigs like Oasis (sorry if I insulted anyone, I really love
their music but the way they act is just gross). Maybe it's not right to
say what I've said but...What about their actions, maybe it's do metter to
me but I don't think that something that U2 did or will do can make me stop
being their fan.

Well I think that's it, gotta go,
Bye bye,
luv,
Ari.
