First, I can't beLIEve that I was unable to read Wire for 3 days and
when I come back I just see that everything's the same!!! (if everyone says
that, why can't I??? ;-))) Oh, well, I actually knew that this would happen....
Then, my reply!!!

talking about just enjoying the music, but about attitude and ideals. This
is a fan to me (otherwise you just like the music of the band.). So, IMO you
don't need to have every single-album-bootleg-video-whatever know to the
world to be a fan of U2, but if you do and are happy about it, then we would
get along well! I admit I would love to be able to get much more stuff that
I can, but I'm OK in just seeing everything my way.
==> Well, we all know that Bono has said that "U2 fans are the best fans in
the world" (hey, don't get pissed off, I don't have the quote so this is not
verbatim!!!), and that U2 is one of those caring bands that really stop and
talk to the fans, so I think they do think about us (the fans, not only
Wire!!! ;-))). If you take a look at other bands you'll see that U2 cares *a
lot* about their fans!!!
==> Well, I gotta confess, with me it's not *just* about music. I mean, it
started this way but as I got more "into" U2 things got deeper. U2 does
influence me a lot, I relate too much with some songs and that's too
difficult not to get moved, also I'm kinda trying to learn how to play
guittar because of U2. This band, it just changed my life and kept me
holding on when I needed (no details), I'm liked to U2 in such a way that I
would never be able to drop this passion. Nothing or no one would make me
"stop" liking U2. And no, I don't think a "Greatest Hits" album is a
sell-out. no, I don't think they'll ever sell out. In my mind, for U2 to
sell out they would have to forget all those ideals they've been with since
they started up and it's impossible for anyone to change soooo radically.
I'm sorry if this offended anyone, I would feel terrible if it did.
I just talk and write this way (sharply!).... And a little request: If
you're gonna flame yourselves to death, thna do it, but keep "the guys" out
of it (which is easy if you keep in mind how U2less those flame wars can
get!!!! ;-), no Bono, Adam or Larry bithing and don't even think about
saying anything abou Edge!!! Got my point? Oh, I don't think so...
