Speaking of U2 posters in movies....

Besides poster spotting, i can recall 3 movies in which U2 were actually
mentioned... if memory serves me correctly that is! anyway

1) Four Weddings and A Funeral... after Hugh Grant has escaped from that
hotel room where the newly-weds were going at each other for hours...
who should he bump into but Duckface! his ex-gf... blah blah blah she
says something like:

"I thought U2 was a (submarine)" or something (can't recall!)

and ol Hughie goes:

"well their music has a very naval (?! nasal??) quality"

2) The Commitments : the band has finally been reviewed in the papers
and jimmy is reading it to Joey "following in the footsteps of U2 and
Sinead O'connor, the commitments 'something something something"

3) Blown Away (or whatever the movie title is with Tommy Lee Jones and
Jeff Bridges)... where Tommy is irish (I THINK!) and some girl asks him
whether he's heard of U2 and he hasn't but he covers up and pretends to
have heard of them...

all of this is from the top of my head so if anyone can actually give
the correct dialogues it'd be fab!

are there any other movie out there with u2 mentioned in the script??
(besides RnH of course DUH! and any other U2 related movie for that
fact! ;) )

*Love to walk those movie sets*
