Hello Wire! (Excuse my bad English, thanks :)

I've actually been lurking around here for a while and am now posting my
"virgin post" *lol*

(I know this is boring but :) I'll start with a short presentation of
myself! ;) *lol* My Name is Anne and I'm a fifteen-year-old U2 fanatic
from Sweden... (Yeah, you know up in the north... That's right! ABBA! ;)
I've been a fan for... well the part of my life that I count for as
important... ;) I've read most U2 books (every book that I have got my
hands on... ;), and have all their records plus CDr's
(Thanx Patrick!! :) My room is covered with posters... So I guess you
can say that I'm "into them", a "fan", whatever that is...

I was lying here in my bed just the other day, listening to...U2 what
else... and thinking... (I know when you're as young as I am you
shoudn't do things like that cause if you do you should look a
psychiatrist. My parents think there is something seriosly wrong with me
;) :) And it occurred (for the gazillionth time) that I *really* love
their music! It's soooo good! I dunno why! But that's the way it is...

<<<<<<<It's pretty unfair here in NYC; half the radio
stations are rap and stuff, and the other half are mega rock, which only
play the older U2 songs. A small amount are mixed stations, but are
playing N'sync about every 5 minutes or so, which gets me mad. If you
live in New York, you'll know what I'm talking about. *sigh*>>>>>>>>

(Hello Angel! :)
The only thing we get to hear is crap music like Five, BSB, All saints
and that f*cking Celine Dion and (sorry if I offended anyone, just my
thoughts, but isn't it a bleeding mystery that people like bands like
those? ;) I mean just compare one of Five's songs to one of U2's... No
DON'T, they are not worthy to be compared to U2.

We hardly have any bootlegs! *sniff* :(
But the old vinyls are really cheap! :) I bought the AIWIY 12" single
for I think it was $2... (I dunno much about prizes, perhaps that isn't
cheap at all... ;)

Anyway, to something completly different...
One has been a very special song for me... Everytime I hear it (and it's
like the millionth time now, I think I have twenty different versions of
the song :) I get that special feeling that is hard to describe... One
is whatever you want it to be...
For me, and I think for many with me, that song has meant a lot...
It's not just an ordinary love song... It's *one* special song...

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, if something touches you
inside, it matters.
And that's why I love U2; They matter to me...

Thanks for the space
Anne
