Interesting comments, Elmo ... got me to do some thinking.

I don't know ... don't you think they already have? 20 years is a heckuva
long time to be together in the same group arrangement, no membership
changes. I think of the new bands that are popular today, and I'm not
real confident any of them will be around in 15-20 years.

Even though I agree with some of your comments on the Best Of album, I do
think U2 has already stood the test of time.

Gotta take polite exception to this, also. I think it would get MORE
airplay if it someone else's song. It's just the nature of radio and the
industry as a whole today that everyone is trying to break the Next Big
Thing. Jeez, just about anybody NEW can get their songs played on radio
today. I think the U2s and REMs of the world have it a little more
difficult because radio people assume their listeners don't want to hear
the same old band they've been hearing for the past 15 years.

Amen to that!
