<<. it's understoood that U2 mets up with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois
in Dublin to discuss the recording of their new album.
According to a well-placed source, "The producers and U2 will meet again
next month to discuss possible recording locations and times for the
project.

Its definately true. I was at the Hanover Studios Monday night when Eno and
Lanois left. Actually, Bono drove Lanois home. But they have been there with
them all week. According to one person we spoke with there, Lanois has
another obligation and can't start until February. The band is working on the
new album though. Bono told us a few days ago that they already recorded 15
songs in 3 days!! He seemed excited about the new stuff and about the
greatest hits/B sides release too.
