Wonder if the 'influence' is maybe his sharing his struggle to be a rock
star and a Christian...or hearing the different voices telling him what
a good Christian should or should not do..and other voices telling him
how to be a successful rock muscian?? This is pure speculation on my
part but the words just seemed to speak of the struggles he had in the
past but as usual I may reading way to much into this. I also heard
that Patti Smith was an influence on this as well...whatever. It's a
good song no matter what his input.
