Hi All,

I really don't think it's about USA taste in music. We're basically
force feed what type of music we're gonna like. Alanis is number one in
America because everytime you turn on the radio Thank U is playing. I
can honestly say I have NEVER heard Sweetest Thing on the radio.

I don't know if it's the radio stations, Polygram or U2 but somebody has
decided to give up. And I sincerely hope that this is not a trend,
because when their new album comes out I damn well want to hear it on
the radio.

U2 have always had at least one or two hits off of every record, do you
think it scares them that Pop didn't produce that? I mean I would
totally freak out if after 20 years in this business I put out an album
and people thought it totally sucked.

I think their reestablishing themselves. Releasing the GH was a very
good move, and I think it's a prelude to what the new album is going to
be, my opinion is that they'll recapture what made them great, but mix
it up a bit, you know combine JT, R&H with AB, Zoo.

My hope is that they don't totally give up on the USA, I know there core
base of true fans are in Europe and the rest of the world, but I hope
they don't forget how much so many of us Americans LOVE their music and
appreciate what they do for a living.

Bye for now,

Lisa M.
