I just LOVE internet rumors..............

heroine. They said he told a
magazine this and that he was imbarrased about it because he was addicted. I
know this can't be true! >>

To soothe everyone's fears: no, no, and last but not least no, Bono is not
addicted to heroin. He was quite affected by the addiction _of a friend of
his_ and wrote a song, "Bad", about it; then some years later wrote "Running
to Stand Still" which was about another relationship affected by drugs.
Heroin trafficking _is_ a problem in Dublin, and like any socially-conscious
rockstar Bono had something to say about that. That does not mean the songs
are about _his_ life, which is what some idiots have misinterpreted.
