Let me try to list as many nasty rumors as I can from the top off my
head that came up on Wire in the last year or so:

1. U2 Live in Egypt, "Sphinx" live album
2. "Rather Go Blind" album
3. U2 to play Paris at the World Cup
4. "Drive" album
5. U2 to play Times Square on New Year's
6. U2 to appear on X-Files soundtrack
7. "Do You Feel Loved" to be remixed by Puff Daddy
8. A second Passengers album on the way with collaboration with
Bjork among others.
9. A second European leg for Popmart
10. Larry not happy with band (at the early stages of Popmart)
11. GH album to have Bad live from Rattle and Hum
12. Japan release of GH to have Red Hill Mining Town
13. U2 having a song called "From The Cradle To The Cross"
14. U2 to perform in the next Tibetan Concert

Oh, there are much more that this but as ofnow, these are the rumors
that I can remember. Of course, I never believed any of them. Ever
since the first rumor since I joined Wire never materialized, I have
now had this mindset: "Every U2 News post in Wire is given the
presumption of irregularity and "hoax"-ness until positively proven
otherwise."
