Insinuate:
to introduce (as an idea) gradually or in a subtle, indirect, or covert way
<insinuate doubts into a trusting mind> (webster's)

Comparison:
the act or process of comparing: as a: the representing of one thing or person
as similar to or like another (webster's)

<<So what else
did he see on the ZooTV and POPMART tours? Please enlighten us. Or maybe
you just "lied alot" like in ariston's post....>>

Maybe you just "lied alot" (which by the way is a lot), is a both a comparison
and insinuation that Nico is a liar. Which by the way she is not.

<<So before you accuse me of "tarnishing"anyone's holy image on Wire, or
"trying to screw Nico, and compare her to some of the trash on wire" as you
say, maybe you should have payed better attention to my post.>>

I obviously paid more attention to your post than you did. Maybe you would
like to read it again?

Your sarcasm, and so called "whit" are unappreciated ... and I believe you not
only owe an apology to Nico but to Ariston as well ... the owl's post's may
not be the most relevant pieces of "literature" I have ever seen on wire, but
no one deserves to be called a liar, when all they do is state what they
honestly believe. Maybe just a bit "uninformed," in the owl's case anyway.

As for the good doctor, again, believe what you want. That is your choice.
All Nico was doing was sharing a story that was told to her. But overall you
missed the point of the whole post. Bono did sign a beautiful drawing she
made of him as "Skan head of Bono by Nico." None of us really got the meaning
of "Skan Head" (or I didn't anyway -- if the other four of you did, please
email me). But it was funny for the five of us to see Skag_Head on wire
(which was in reference to drug use by Bono, which you and I will never know
the truth) I prefer to believe none of them touch the shit, but you know
that's not entirely true.

So before you go off on a tangent, I suggest you read each post three times,
out loud if necessary (you can read ... so read out loud -- LOL). I hope you
put a little more thought into your education or career.

Joy, I have nothing against you personally, I don't know you, and at this
point, my life will not be incomplete if I never hear from you again, but
please do us all a favor, think before you speak. It will make life much more
pleasant.

Lillith ... you -- where the heck have you been hiding? Anyway ... you wrote

<<Okay - not wanting to question the truth of your friend's story but -- I was
under the impression that U2 kept their dressing rooms pretty much
off-limits to people who were non-staff....and that no one is about to be
allowed to "just walk in" on them anyway, even during the JT tour where Phil
Joanou had more-or-less the run of their area (and there were places he
wasn't let in either, from what I recall reading)...
It would seem that "doctor-patient confidentiality" is available only to
those persons who are not celebrities... >>

I do have a tendency to agree with that thought about the Joanou thing ... I
don't question that the story was told to Nico, but I think your line of
thought may be correct. I don't like the idea of the boys doing anything to
harm themselves -- especially Adam -- why do I always fall for the men who do
stupid shit? Arrgh! But just to raise some reasonable doubt about Mr.
Joanou, aren't those movie star/director/makeup artist/grip/best boy/coffee
gofer/struggling actor type working as a waiter as a part-time thing people
into that kind of stuff ... drugs I mean anyway? I don't know ... maybe just
a stereotype.

On a funny note I want to share with you what a friend said about my
(pathetic) U2 bootleg collection ...
"oh ... you still get stuff on vinyl? Do you have a vinyl player?"

A vinyl player? LOL !!! I think she meant a turntable ... but maybe I'm out of
the loop ... tell me does anyone know? Is a vinyl player like a CD-R?

Drugs are kicking in now! Damn I missed these headaches!

In the name of Sparky,
Shannon Carey-Thorpe

Ps.
Adam ... sweetie ... call me sometime ;)
