Sex, Drugs and Rock n' Roll

Sex, Drugs and Rock n' Roll...
it's an old cliche you know, and I don't think U2 are any execption.

Any fan who thinks that Bono and/or the rest of U2 have never taken
drugs is NIAVE. Adam has admitted it recently and I think Bono admitted
it long ago in his lyrics. C'mon guys, it was the 80's and EVERYBODY who
was ANYBODY was doing it. Look at all the post 80's rock stars that have
come out of the smoke hazed closet Boy George, Sting, Michael Hutchence,
even Michael Jackson!

Who cares anyway? They are still here, some of them have cleaned there
act up, they are still enjoying life, they are still performing and
writing and recording.

Yeah, I can see why some of you don't want to believe it. We all like to
think of them as so special. But is it so bad if Bono did do coke or
anything else? Does this make him less of a person? Life on the road
would turn a saint to drugs! And let's face it, Dublin back then wasn't
the exciting booming economy it is now. What did most young Irish people
have to look forward to apart from migrating?

And for those of you who want to flame me - now here's my proof - how
HIGH in the SKY is Bono in the Still Haven't Found video?!
