(This is not my flaming post. That will come later.)

About Bono being plugged in or not, there are two possibilities:

1) He's not plugged in because the group thinks his playing leaves a lot
to be desired.

or (more likely in my opinion)

2) He's using a remote pick-up; thus, no cords would be seen.

I know for a fact that when Bono and The Edge played acoustically on the
small stage that BOTH guitars were in operation. Just listen for
yourself. However, I have also noticed that it is extremely difficult to
hear Bono's (alleged) guitar contributions during other parts of the
show. This is probably because his playing is buried deeply in the mix
at the soundboard. Don't be alarmed by not hearing it.

Or, he's just not plugged in. I wasn't at Sydney or Mexico City, so I
can't say for certain. Anyone who was want to help on this one?

P.S. When I saw him on POPMart, he was carrying this small pocket
mirror, though. What do you think that was for? ;)
