I am forever a U2 fan, but I cant help noticing that over the last year
or so, it seems that Bono cannot sing as well as he used to. If you
compare a popmart show such as mexico city or sao Paulo to a Zoo Tv show
such as Stockholm'92 or Sydney'93, it seems that bono's voice is much
stronger and better sounding in the zootv shows and earlier stuff.
I know that bono is now singing in a higher tone (I prefer the older
style), but I would really like to hear his trademark strong voice come
back. The older Sweetest thing vocally sounds much much better than the
new one
Why on earth did they release mexico city on video, when vocally it
wasnt as good as many other popmart shows? Bono is struggling to sing in
several songs. The funny thing is, when I saw u2 in Perth on 17/2/98
Bono's voice sounded strong and of ZooTV quality. Better than the other
3 Aussie shows.
Anyway, enough complaining, Im sure bono will work it out.
By the way, has anybody got a CD copy of Stockholm in 1992.
