I vividly remember finding out that John Lennon had been killed. It was
the next morning, and I walked into the kitchen to fix some tea. My dad
was reading the paper and the headline read "Ex-Beatle John Lennon
Slain". I was shocked to death. All of the things he could have done
from then on went up in smoke. Why? Why was this brilliant, idealistic
human being taken from us by a lunatic with a gun?
We'll never know.
