Cut him a little slack, at least (was: Bono in Rolling Stone)

Some people said some stuff about tour dates:
>> > Bono, you were in Vancouver, playing a ZOO TV show at B.C. Place. I was
>> > there: fifth row.

>> Yeah, that was the DAY OF THE ELECTION. The person you quoted was
>> correct, U2 were in SF the day after...
>
>NO.

>U2 played two shows at BC Place: one the night of the election and one
>the day after. I remember. I was there both nights. I remember watching
>the returns from the U.S. reported on the TVs in the food court just
>before the show the first nigh.

Hey! People. You know, I've been to ten U2 concerts in my entire lifetime
-and they were all Popmarts, and all but two all in the same three-month
period. And, strangely enough, I sometimes find myself in the middle of
telling someone about San Antonio, and what I said to Dallas Schoo, when
ooop! I remember that it wasn't San Antonio, but Miami. Crazy me! how could
I NOT remember. Excuse me while I go outside and beat myself. If I can't
remember that, I don't expect (and am not aghast) when Bono, whose been to
a few more than ten Popmart concerts in his life, gets a little muddy
about dates here and there.

I know this was practically pointless post. I just find it amusing that
since we have nothing else going on in our lives, we hold the LV up to the
same detail-fixated standards. :)
