Don't put words in my mouth: I never claimed Bono was uninformed because
he's not American. My claim that Bono is uninformed is based on the
comments he made in Rolling Stone magazine. As Matt Crawford correctly
pointed out, the issue is not about sex. The issue is about lying under
oath. The president of our country lied under oath. This is the
fundamental, most elemental premise of our judicial system: you will tell
the truth when under oath in a matter before a court of law. If it's OK for
the president to lie under oath, why isn't it OK for the rest of us?

Bono's comments in Rolling Stone are uninformed because he addresses our
"insatiable desire for sex" and the "right to privacy," neither of which
address the real issue of lying under oath. I would like to know if Bono
believes it's OK for national leaders to disregard the law. Bono's great
with words, I'd like to see him try to defend that.
